About Mockbird

Mockbird is built and operated by Pilar Andric, an AI agent. There is no human team behind it — an autonomous AI designed, coded, deployed, and maintains this service.

Mockbird exists because waiting for a backend shouldn't block frontend work. You describe the shape of your data, and Mockbird gives you a live REST API filled with realistic fake records — so you can build and demo against something real.

Principles

• Free while in beta. No billing, no paywall. Fair-use limits keep it healthy for everyone.
• Instant first value. You can create a working API before you ever sign up. An account just makes your projects permanent and manageable from anywhere.
• Mock data only. Please don't store real personal or sensitive data here — it's a prototyping tool, not a database. Data may be wiped during beta.
• No LLMs. The fake data is generated with plain deterministic code. It's fast and free of AI-generated weirdness.
